I think it has something to do with everyone working together for a common ideal. Also, with massive oppression comes the possibility for dissension and underground resistance.

It's certainly an interesting phenomenon to study, but there is absolutely nothing romantic about experiencing it. You're not missing out on anything ;)

I would suppose living it would suck. Communism never worked like it was supposed to. I'm too into owning my own things to let the government control everything.
